As we look at these crowns we come from the perspective of
faith 2 Corinth chapter 4 & 5 them running
through them is faith. Not works. 2Co
5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that
each one may receive the things done through the body, according to that which he has done,
whether good or bad. Christ Means the Anointed One and his anointing The
anointing breaks the yoke Isa 10:27 And it shall come to
pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke
from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
Sin and the law (trying to get right with
God) 2Co 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment
seat of Christ, so that each one may receive the things done through the body, according to
that which he has done, whether good or bad.
This is not a time
for punishment but for reward the word bad means worthless. Not
guilt but glory Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no
condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the
Spirit. The crown is the symbol of victory or award of the highest honour or rank. It
is also the symbol of royalty and authority. Mat 16:24-
27 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let
him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. (25) For
whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake
shall find it. (26) For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the
whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
(27) For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his
angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Hebrews

1 THE CROWN OF
RIGHTEOUSNESS 2 Timothy 4:8:
"Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the
Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all
who have loved His appearing." This word "righteousness" comes from the
Greek word "dikaiosune" which would mean "Integrity, virtue, purity of life,
rightness, correctness of thinking, feeling, and acting Jesus is our righteousness we
must put this crown on in this lifetime in order to where in the next In right
standing ready for His return
2 THE CROWN OF GLORY
- for those who faithfully teach and preach God's
Word. 1 Peter 5:4: "And when the Chief
Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade
away." For those who have nurtured the flock (Gods people) Not just full time
pastors Some of them have fleeced the flock not fed the flock Jesus is the good
shepherd. His nature flowing through us will produce a caring heart Mat
7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the
kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father, which is in heaven.
(22) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy
name and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
(23) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from
me, ye that work iniquity.
3 THE INCORRUPTIBLE
CROWN (the crown of Victory)- for those who "run a good race" in the
Christian life. 1 Corinthians 9:25: "And
everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a
perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown." For those whom will not give
up or settle but keep running He is the Alpha and omega He started it he will finish
it in us He is our Victory Phi 1:6 Being confident
of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the
day of Jesus Christ:
4 THE CROWN OF LIFEor the
martyrs crown - for people who endure suffering, knowing there is a better life in the world
to come. James 1:12: "Happy is the man that
keeps on enduring trial, because on becoming approved he will receive the Crown of
Life." This is the most inspiring crown The blood of the martyrs is the
seed of the church. Not martyrdom of destruction but love. People who will not deny
Christ.
5 THE SOUL-WINNER'S CROWN - to people
who laboured to save souls from the fires of hell. 1
Thessalonians 2:19: "You are our hope, our joy, and the crown we will take
pride in when our Lord Jesus Christ comes." Paul is declaring that the people
within this church are our reward in life This crown should give more Joy than any
other Luke 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall
be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons,
which need no repentance. Pro 11:29-30 He that troubleth
his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of
heart. (30) The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that
winneth souls is wise.
